A good amount of our regular fans are from Spanish-speaking countries, so we liked having the authentic Spanish word “taqueria” in the title. The more we looked at the title though, the more we realized how awkward it could be for players. For the new game we originally decided on “Papa’s Taqueria”, since taco shops occasionally go by that name, and we had that matching “-ia” at the end of the title. “Papa’s Pizzeria” was a natural choice for the original game, and for the sequel we tried to build on that familiarity with the somewhat-goofy “Papa’s Burgeria”. We’re notoriously bad at coming up with titles for our games, but we thought we’d have an easy time with this one.
